well he put up a fight right till the last 151.8 today. made a new box with 8" aero port common chamber.and this was the number and result's from the first burp. so now to wait for some recone's.I might try some different coil's but I'm not sure yet what ohm these amp's are wanting yet. oh this was with 2 3000d's

the second picture was of the other woofer. i just rolled the volume and poof it was gone and it only did a 146.?

it was a DD 9510

i'm sure it all played a factor in the destruction of it. but that is what happen's when you put 8000+ watts too a couple 10's.

Dammnnn!!!! I feel for ya!!! I blew a couple of surrounds the first time around. What are the dimensions of the box?? It seems that it was a lot of compression built up in the box. I would move up to the kevlar cone. You will go up at least 0.7 db's.

thats cuz dd uses some podunk cones. The full size cf dustcap is supposed to help some. You could switch to a kevlar cone one, or if u talk nice to somebody from another company maybe they could make you a recone with a cone that wont do that. I know of 2 off hand :)
