i did a 145.8 tl at 32 hz with one q 18! i got 2 trophies for it at a nopi tuner event in montgomery alabama. i got first in my class and won first in port wars with a guy that had (8) rockford t(2) 12's and (8) rockford t10001bd's. (its all about the box guys!)

nevermind the bl something inbetween jim! thats what we are getting at. i know what you are trying to say. im just saying for those who cant afford a "beefy" sub but want something pretty close. it was just an idea that i had no idea would turn into this many people being interested!

I don't know what you're getting at.

It's pretty simple, if you don't have enough power or reserve capacity to power a BTL, there's the BL. If you only have a kilowatt or so on tap, there's the Q. And their recommended ranges of power overlap quite nicely, so simply adding more to the Q over what's already available as options wouldn't get you anything else.

What I'd like to see Fi do is offer something in a power range they really don't have anything for now, what the X series used to be. Maybe marketed to a different crowd, I don't know. I know the Shiva did really well in that power/price bracket.

I have a feeling that'll be the role of AA, though :)

How odd too.. When Scott had the X up it didn't get much attention...Once he took it away and Fi got a little more exposure the posts started building up for it....

Guess we all want what we can't have...

I suspect that the AA line was the reason the X never made it back...
