Fi is taking to long! Fed up

Recommended Posts

All I have to say is be glad you are buying from Fi and not TC sounds or DD. Anything custom from them is generally 4 months minimum. You also have to take into consideration that the post you are referring to says approximate, not exact. But of course we don't all run companies to know what delays are like. I would rather wait a few extra days for a custom built sub than buying an off the shelf sub anyday. But alas, sometimes things do happen and needs occur.

4 months no?

3-4 weeks yeah..

Think I waited 5 days for my BL to ship, then it was like another day before it sowed up, on the exact day it was supposed to, 6 days is nothing, I waited a month for my Avalanche 15 to be built and shipped.

In my opinion, Fi is doing a damn good job with the amount of orders they are getting and how fast they are getting stuff out to customers.

If I had to wait 2 weeks on a sub from them, I would still be happy!

I believe that you are the one that UPS had issue with delivering (apparently the label fell off or was unreadable for whatever reason). It appears that you have contacted them as of this morning and that the package is set for delivery to you with the correct address.

I am very sorry for the shipping issues and will follow this one closely to make sure it is received.

I didn't even know wat was going on till my gf greeted me in the parking lot after work with my Q in her trunk. It's in now and it Kicks ass! Now just need to save for 3 more. :finger:

I would rather have a company (Fi) take their time to build my order than to rush the process and sacrifice quality for quantity.

I thinking Fi's order process is based on a "just in time basis". With this in mind shipping delays can occur, but in house stock never gets old and the end product quality increases. For the past few years I have been in shipping and receiving for a major corporation that supplies 80% of foreign car manufacturers. We have maintained a 99.8% (no delay) shipping completion four consecutive years in a row using the JIT method.

And let me tell ya it AINT EASY........................................................... cut Fi some slack its harder than you think.
