Please tell me this is a warranty issue...? It happened last night noticed one sub quit, kind of looks like the wire was to short, there are no rips in the speaker just a broke wire? this is a Q 10.

Scott,

Good idea on the peanut sticky... I've been sent woofers in peanuts and it's not pretty! Not only do they not do a good job... they get all in the motor, very nasty indeed. Had a kid pay a packing shop to sent me a pair of 18" BTLs as part of a trade... they used *only* packing peanuts. The boxes sat at a 45 degree angle when they arrived and were full of metal pieces that used to be speakers and motors rolling around jammed with peanuts in the gap. Fun times :) Good thing he paid the shipping store, they were an authorized ship center so FedEx had to pay up!

Ooops...I used peanuts when I sent a sub back to RE Audio. It is never easy trying to pack a 50+ lb subwoofer.

Not my worry anymore if peanuts are sent to RE...lol

But when I was there youd better believe Id yell. I hated when UPS left a trail of peanut bits from some ripped open box through my shop. Or when the workers would rip things open and they blow everywhere... or when I have 56 of them shoved up a pole vent on a "warranty" sub that we cant tell if its fine or not since all I hear is peanuts rattling around inside and shoved in the gap... or when the peanuts tried to take over the world... I hate foam peanuts :)
