So, which of the two would you do and why? About how much SPL will the 4 Q's produce. I am open to just about anything, and really do listen to EVERYTHING.

I ALSO FORGOT TO ADD ONE MORE CHOICE, BUT OH WELL. 4 Q'S PORTED.

What amplifiers, kind of power would you be feeding said subs.

Amp wise, I will be using RF4000.1's. One for the Q's, 1000watts each sub. If I go with BTL's, 2 RF4000.1's, 2000watts each...unless I can find some Kicker 2500's for a good price, then 4 of those, one on each BTL. All electrical upgrades will be done. At least 1 300 amp alt no matter what, extra batteries (more depending on which I go with), big 3 upgrade, several runs of wire.

I'd do BLs or BTLs. I just prefer SPL, and I think they'll still sound great tuned ~32hz or so. With the cost of the RF4ks you could try one sundown 3k each and it would be around the same cost. Just an idea.

EDIT:

just saw the 1100 price on the 3ks. unless someone can get you a deal, that's within 100 of memphis 4ks... which are still near half the cost of a RF4k.

its kinda hard to compare these 2 choices thes subs are in different classes. I could maybe see if you were comparing the bl or q but this basically just comes down to weahter you want to blow your brains out or just be really loud and sound better doing it. i would personally go the BTL's but im an spl freak.

I stand corrected. I remember reading about a group buy of 900 or so an amp, I just thought that had changed. Guess it's best to just ask. Thanks a lot. :)

I would go with 4 Qs ported to 32hz. With one is already rocking my world, 4 will rock my balls.
