Bought the Q back in Janurary. I have been told that the spider is blown. This is my only resort of maybe getting some info on what to do to send it back to you all to be re-coned. I know that you all are a busy group, but please respond, as I have a nice paperweight on my hands.

I have never given it more than 1000w. It's only been powered by a JL 1000/1 and a Sundown 1500D @ 2 ohms. thanx for responding to the post Scott.

FYI: BOTH of those amps are capable of sending >1000w to a 2ohm load.

What's your point? I have seen a Q being pushed by over 1300W daily. I have had too many subs, to be an assclown and blow it during an error of wiring or too much power. At least have a point before you post questionable comments.

I just bought a Q 12 inch with BP Power today =] neways when i did i got an e-mail from them saying they'd be real busy till the 8th because of the 4th of July n theyre setting up a new production facility or sumthin for a company they bought.

Itd probably be easier jus to see the e-mail so here it is lol:

I am hoping that one of them will get back to me soon. Kinda suks, as I am looking at an additional week just for shipping time after they get it to UPS. I hate UPS ground for cross-country shipments, as 6 business is absolutely awful. I sent my sub to them via USPS Priority Mail, and it got there in 2 days, and it was only $6 more than UPS Ground.

Now tell me what you were powering it with again cause it was rather beat and the former was turning gold.

I was powering it with a SAZ1500D @ 2 ohms. I dunno if it was making that rattling noise before I hooked it up to my JL1000/1 or not, but I was running it @ 2 ohms on it also. I sent you an email with my amp settings for the 1000/1, check your inbox Scott when you get a chance. I will post the setting on the amp here, in about an hour. Thanx.
