ports?

Should the ports be on the same side as sub is on or not? I want my BTL's to fire up and the ports to fire up to. Does it matter where the port is on the box? Would it hit harder with the subs and port towards the back of my excursion? Thanks...

Generally, in SUV's, sub back port back sounds best. Sub up port back is loudest.

What type of vehicle and what are you looking for-spl or sq? As dopey said, I liked the way the 1 btl sub and port firing rearward sounded, but with sub up port back I gained 1-2dbs.
