Q/BL vs TC3000

Recommended Posts

ok so it basically all comes down to this..

what is a better sub?

the Q or Bl vs the TC3000

what gets the lowest?

im just looking for the hardest hitting sub in my budget

i know that all 3 are quality subs

but this will decide which is the next sub i buy

i really want to go with Fi but im hearing good things about the 3000

i know asking this question on an Fi forum might get one sided answers

so what you guys think?

Personally I think the Q and the 3000 are a great match, go with the bl if you want output, but go with the Q or 3000 if you want lows. Watch out for the 3000 being out of stock though.

Just check my signature. You can see what I chose but I love Fi as well.

I would, I'd rather go with the more professional customer service of Fi :)

That is for sure, I am coming up on 2 months for a shipping quote. 3 emails.

I hope thats not 2 months for a shipping quote from me?!?!?

I am backed up on emails for being gone for over a week... but should be cleared up by tonight (then I get to ride the waves of responses out for another week before we get back to normal)...

3000 looks like a solid sub. Much prettier than mine ;)

I thought the BL hit the lows better then the q?

hmmm they both hit the lows better just that the BL will take more watts (with a few upgrades) thus giving it output advantage...

Thermal power handling often times isn't the deciding factor in really low frequency ability, you're probably going to run out of linear travel before the coil ever heats up.

It's totally box dependent, but if I was building something to extend really deep I'd probably start with the Q, I'd just feel better working with a flatter response.
