4 maw 15's or 2 mj 18's

i have been researching alot on these 2 subs just dont know which is best for my plan. my plan is to do a budget minded spl/daily system my goal is to do a 150 under 1000 dollars on subs/amps/and batts now my question is 1) do iahve enough space for 4 15's i have a 98 chevy silverado extended cab 2) which sub is better for my application

You own the truck, not us. Measure it up and find out yourself. Then tell us how much room (or even the dimensions) you have to work with. If you do a wall, I'm sure you could easily fit 4 15's though.

If you want to do 4 15's as mentioned above, going ported try to get around 3.0 per sub and keep the tuning in the mid 30's if you want it clean for daily. I personally don't like daily installs that are tuned in the 40's, but if you are competing that is another story. The 4 15's have a cone advantage over the 2 18's.
