Recone Pricing info

Recommended Posts

Ok, well i sent and email to [email protected] but i figured that i might just post up on the forum to share with everyone else this information. I apologize about not posting on here first as i read the sticky AFTER i had emailed you guys.

1. Do you sell Recone kits? (soft parts excluding the basket unless i need it and does it come with glue?lol)

2. What Recone kits do you offer (BTL, BL, SSD, Q, RE SX? ______________ and what else?)

3. How much are each of the Recone kits shipped?

4. Do you have a Shim i could maybe purchase?

5. Could you include more information about the recone kit? ( what size 2" 2.5" 3" do you offer 4"?)

6. How many layers do the Recone kit come with? 8 layer? 4 layer

7. I just need some general information about the recones i did a search for it but it looks like everything was handled in PM

8. Any other information that could be of use that you can include in this email that i haven't already included would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,

Nathan

1) Yep, no glue per msds/shipping issues.

2) We sell a recone kit for any of our subs, and normally can do many other woofers...just depends on if its a 3" coil motor or not, and the id/od of the coil. Most of the time on different stuff you have to ship the sub in, we can't build a drop in for it and the vast majority of Chinese motors we simply cannot do (they use a oddball coil size, ours are standard 3")

3) Cost depends on what the recone is, generally varies from 80-110 + shipping (if not more)

4) Shims come with it if we can make a kit for it, if it isn't thick enough you can use paper or even a manilla file folder.

5) 3" only, we're not getting into a bunch of oddball stuff..and we're not in the recone business, if we have something in stock that'l fit the motors you have...sure we'll build you a recone. Otherwise we're not tackling other projects with other size coils now.

6) All depends on gap demensions

Thanks!

Yep, almost positive Scott could do that.

Specs probably wouldn't be the same as original, but it would at least work again
