ideas for the new wall?

Recommended Posts

ok, as some of u know, my first wall i tore out to make room to lay frame. well once the bags are done, wall is getting rebuilt. right now, its gonna be the 4 15" mts, hella close to the front seats, with the port on the top, and the 4 15's under that.

i sat in that guy john's van with the 16 12" ssd's, and it was loud. you guys think i should build my wall like a diamond type thing, something like galactic monkey is doing, or just a straight up wall like im doing? itll be tuned around 35 hz.

this was my old wall: never heard it either :(

my floor after airbags will be sorta like this:

I'd definitely use more on the front baffle your next attempt.

I wouldn't go with a clamshell/pacman/diamond box like we're seeing the big street beaters bring back. These are really good ways to stick a lot of woofers into a truck/van while building a wall.

And what's with the "port on top, subs under that"? I would build it just like you had it.

cant, the floors gonna be all unlevel, and itll make it really hard to do the bottom of the port, and youll see it if u look inside, so the only real way to do it and have it look decent, and easiest would be on the top.

and ya, had i not bought the mt's yet, id prally do a diamond thing to throw in a bunch of 12's. or if i had the space.....8 15" mts....

we can dream cant we? :)

Yeah we can, but my dream is a little more forgiving on the electrical system. I'd rather do 12 Mj-18's from Mach5 in a cut-through or van. Hell, better make that 16 ;)
