The I am single again build!!

Recommended Posts

So I am once again a free man and its time to get back to what I enjoy. I want to outline everything I will be getting and see if anyone has objections before I proceed with purchases! My main concern is the front stage and how well the mid/tweet combo ive picked out will mesh together. I will be purchasing and installing in stages so that is how I will list my ideas. So lets start where I am going to start in the build process....

STAGE 1:

100sqft of Raamaat BXT

Full wiring from Knukonceptz

Begin door pods for 7" Mid

STAGE 2:

Metra Dash kit for my car

Eclipse CD 7000

STAGE 3:

Seas CA18-RNX

Seas 27TFFN

Sound Stream PCA4.520

The mid will be mounted in the door down low in door pods that will be constructed in step 1 of my build the tweet will be placed in the sail panel of my 2003 Mazda 6.

STAGE 4:

18" Fi Q - Ported

Sound Stream PCA-1000D

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any and all input will be considered. Thanks in advance for all of your help!

Mike

Nope....If I werent newly single then most likely Yes. The ordering starts next week. I have to get the mids and tweets in so I can start my door pods.

On another note, I got in the trunk today and took some measurements with the trunk closed and I am not going to be able to do an 18" sub the way I want to due to there not being 18" of height. What does everyone think about the 15" RLP-s or the 15" Q's? from what I have read I cant go wrong with either but any opinions are welcome.

I would go with the new 18 RL-p as it has higher power handling. But the 15Q would take more power than the 15 RL-p. The great 12 challenge shows how the RL-p and Q scored but there are cases where the 12Q hit higher.

I go with the Q because of the potential of taking more than 1k watts easily. But if you plan to power it with 1K then toss a coin.

I definantly look forward to your projects Mike. I hope you enjoy your Q as much as I do mine.
