Thats all!!

Well on a serious note

For that 15" BL w/flatwind and full cooling....

I need someone to help me design a box. I have 40x17x17 to play with in my trunk. I would like to get it shorter than 17" if possible, and less than 40" wide if possible, even less than 17" deep!!! But that is the measurement is the biggest I can do in my trunk of my Scion tC. (HATCHBACK)

I heard that sub facing upward will get louder??? Since its a hatchback? Port facing driver side tail light.....?

I want to do a round port, 6" PVC pipe.

Ok for the smarty pants!!! Help me out here, I can build a sealed box fine, but when it comes to ported I feel like a noobie all over again.

Thanks guys

You have 5.35 cuft to start with (assuming 3/4" MDF). 3.5 cuft after displacement tuned to 33Hz with a 3" X 15.5" X 20" long port. Enclosure ends up being 40" X 17" X 14".

Thanks...

Gotcha, I was trying to stay away from the slotted port, that's why I mention a 6" PVC port instead. Yes it will be 3/4" MDF. Just wanted to stay away from slotted port so I don't have to do more cutting! I know it sounds lame. But I think the round port will look good though!

So that 40x17x14, = external diameter right?

So sub facing up and port towards the back sounds good then right?
