well we both have accounts on youtube and post our videos. He comes to me and says my Q doesnt have as much excursion as his boss(blade...oh no watch out) and pretty much tells me his sub is better. He acts like he knows everything about car audio and how his system is the chit.

Hes just like those sony explode kids that think thier systems are slaming and they ghetto rig thier whole car.

hah so yea i just wanted to let yall know hes hating on Fi and im goin to own him today when i post my 30hz burp video. lol

personally i don't even waste my time anymore. I am only 20, and i once was a sony xplod cruiser (when i was 16, car came with it, took it out in less than 1 day!.

If you want to know why his sub has soo much "excursion" maybe its because his subs suspension is like jello, and the paper (looks like it anyways) cone is wicked light, making his woofer efficient at the expense of power hanling.

That pucking sub looks and sounds like chit. My girl litterally just asked me why that sub sounded so bad. For some reason its not taking my responses on you tube. I left one and then left another I added onto and neither showed up

Yea man, that Blade was the chit at excursion, until it blew. But im buying another to be powered by my 1200watt RMS HiFonics amp, so im gonna see what it can REALLY do. My old Blade was runnin about 250watts RMS, it would pry rip the cone off the suspension at 1200watts!

Off-brands? Premier is not an off-brand buddy. The 5000SPL would blow that Fi away like nothin. I cant say for sure, but im pretty sure my 3000SPL can compete with that Fi. Dont get me wrong, Fi and RE are great brands, but Pioneer Premier is far from wal-mart chit buddy.

glad i never liked the crap stuff. my first sub was a 12" MTX 8000 with only 12mm xmax, big whoop. respectable first sub though.

now when people are telling me about their cheap systems (had a guy telling me about his explorer with 3 xplod's in a sealed box), i just say "ok, i've heard of those subs before" and make no more comments. if i feel like showing off, i'll make them get in the passenger seat and rock their world before i tell them what i have or "how many" cuz they always ask. just a single 12" Q. sounds like crap outside when cranked (everything rattles on the outside), but its amazing when you sit inside cuz its nice and deadened in there.

excursion doesn't make the sub.

I'd just ask him to stfu till he got metered with his new setup, then come back and tear you a new one. If he never returns good, if you kick his ass good. I don't see a need for other options if he's puttin 1200rms on a blade...

hehe i had the same thing happen around me some kid thought he was the chit with his 3 12's LOL well ya i was like oo wow thats loud... as his subs bottomed out and sounded like poopy. then i was like oo i got something for ya cranked it to king kong and blew him away he went and told my friend that his was louder for some reason... after saying wow that chit is loud to me... who knows... i guess he just needed to get the tail out of his legs some how...
