Does anyone know when Ascendant Audio is going to update there web site. I've bought several of there subs and mids in the past and was wondering when the new stuff was coming out. Any insight?

I dont really see FI as a boner, its a great product that is customized to the user and at a fair price with excellent customer service.

I don't know about justified, but I can understand it. To a typical teenager who doesn't know squat about good sound, the fact that he can buy a few R's, throw an ugly box together and go rattling down the street is appealing.

As to Fi still being a boner product or not I going to say no they have proven their selfs through quality, customer service, and people just being happy with their product.

i am also keen to hear what AA has to offer as i offered to bring in there gear before but due to a no dealer policy i was put back, it should be a different story now though

Ya I know its not bad I guess its just how you view what a boner product is. To me its something that just came out and everybody's got to have it just because its new.

I actually sold my Avalanche 15" in favour of a Fi BL, I do like the BL, but I dont think it gives me a boner per se. Its a great product at a great price. But no boner here.

Have you ever heard an Fi sub, or even taken the time out of your life to even consider the fact that a new companies product might actually be worth while.

Not that I am defending Fi, but hell i have listened to countless systems, and I dont really care who makes the products, but how they perform.

Knowing both the AVA and the BL farily well, I can safely say they are two VERY different subs. One is more about brute strength and the other finese. Pretty tough to compare the two in any sort of linear fashion as they are really intended for two rather different applications.

The new Havoc seems to straddle the line a little better and has solid SQ and some balls behind it as well.

Product is geared slightly different than the last couple iterations. AA is focusing on what dealers/distributors sell more than what the forum demands at any given time (which is subject to change and whim at the drop of a 0 awg terminal) AA has always been a more SQ focused company, and the newer products are no different. Still focused on solid designs and good sounding subs at a value, I think people will be happy with the new line up.

We arent yet releasing info about the new lines, but we wanted to get a place to focus any current questions about products (past ones) and prepare for info releases on the new ones.

Given my current relationship with SSA... I couldnt think of a better place for Ascendant.

I loved my Ava, I only got rid of it because I couldnt find a second one to do a dual install also it was making my ears ring ported, I had the Ava tuned too high, I think around 38, it was VERY loud, I decided (after having severe ringing in my ears for 3 days) to down grade to 2 10" FI BL's.

I have not got my second BL 10 but I love my single BL 10 just as much as I did the Ava 15. Scott is 100% right though, both subs are completly different and do different things.

I am still amazed that my little 10" BL weights almost as much as my Ava did , you will not be disapointed with the BL at all!
