Power for an Ava 15

Well i just got an absolute powerhouse of a sub .. an Ava 15 :)

do you think itll take an kx1200.1? ne one with expierience wiht it?

don't know what the kx1200.1 does, but if it does what the name implies you'll be fine. I ran my ava15 off an orion1200d and they were quite happy together

i have run both a hifonics bx1500d and bx1000d on an ava.15. the 1500d was a little too much @1ohm if you are hard on it. the 1000d (which i am running now) seems to be a better match when running at high volume for an extended amount of time. iirc the kx1200.1 does around 1400 watts @1ohm. if you set the gains properly you shouldnt have any problems. i rec. about 3.5 cuft @ 30hz :fing34: lmk if you have anymore questions.....

most kx1200's did well into the 1400 range
