These are what i came up with...Seems the depth is a little too much for both the min and max. I, however am no expert in boxes and this is some basics...

And yes, you are ok to screw the amp to the box.

30 wide x 14 tall x 21 deep is 1.8cuft at 30Hz.

i just built a box for a 12" q with a 25Hz tune. pete with team toxic base helped me out alot on it, the port tuning is vehicle dependent and any online calculator will significantly be different than how my box is built for the port. anyways, i fit it in 30x16x15 with a 6" round port and 2.8 cubes after displacements. teh 25Hz is freaking amazing...SQ out the arse

Good suggestion on the round port. That is a nice way to get what he wants...

thanks for all the replies. the thing with my dimentions is that i want to fit the box in the back part of the trunk, so i can still use my trunk

i went to www.the12volt.com and this 29x14x14 made a 2.48 cuft box(3/4mdf). and there is a port calculator in there, but here is what i dont know is that made to calculate the pipe going inside the box? thanks

that doesn't take into account the displacement of the port or sub. if you want 2 cubes after displacements, then you could start with the 2.48 cube box and subtract your port from that (6" round would take up less space than slot ported would) and also the sub displacement. that should give you right around 2 cubes, which is what the Q wants to be happy.
