Im sick of changing my mind lol..

Basiclly, I found someone else with the same jeep as me and he says that side firing is the best for ours because the port needs room to load, and it doesn't have the room it needs firing directly into the rear hatch.

Any truth to that?

How much of a difference is it going to make going from 6 cubes with 96sq/in of port area to 8 cubes with 128 Sq/in of port area?

Can someone help me design the box. I mean I have the basic design down, But I need to know how to do the port. Cause I am lost.

Are you talking a fart box? Its a good possibilty.

Daily driving..i wouldn't side fire it.

Umm...most jeeps i fooled with (hardbody's) typically like port and sub both firing back..but that was in meca outlaw spl as well..

I wouldn't fool with side firing...only thing that is going to accomplish is your quarterpanel vibrating :)

Well this is a Jeep WJ(Grand Cherokee)

So the whole issue of needing room to "load" is BS? I mean with it firing back, its going to be about an Inch of space if that between port and door...

Well in that case why not fire the sub(s) up and port back?

Side firing really isnt optimal for daily driving, it may turn better numbers though.

I know it's not the same truck, but in my s10 blazer I tryed it everyway possible (sub/port combo), lol. Sub up port back gave me the best #'s and sound with minimal rattling. :fing34:

I don't think putting the port that close to the rear wall is a good thing, but would anyone with more experience in that area chime in? I was considering doing this in order to get more cuft in my yukon, but was told something about it being negative, I would reference before but I believe it was lost.
