Soundsplinter rl-i 8's or 10's

Recommended Posts

I'm currently selling my system and am looking to get a new one. Ive heard great things about sound splinter subs but i've never heard any in person. I want to build the biggest box to go behind my seats in an '04 Silverado regular cab. Also I have an ED nine.1 to power the subs. What would you all suggest: 8's or 10's? and if not sound splinter what kind?

Hello and welcome to SSA,

first off the RL-i line is a good solid sub. There are a few people with the RL-i 8s in their trucks and love them. Keep in mind they are beefy subs so they take up a little more room then average. If you could fit a pair of 10's that would be sweet.

My apologies on the website - got called in for Jury Duty at the buttcrack of dawn last Wednesday.. been there ever since! Fortunately, it looks like things will wrap up by Tuesday at the latest. Unfortunately this has kept me from gettin' the website back online for a whole freakin' week now... looks like this weekend won't be much of a weekend for me!:wacko::glare:

you should be able to get the tens behind there. use 1/2" mdf. we've gotten quite a few different subs behind the seats..

Yea well im positive we can fit them. We fit a 12" RE SE behind the seat of a regular cab s-10 so 2 10's in a silverado is no problem.
