This is a big bastard of a woofer.... build quality is top notch... shame I can't get a good pic of the coil... yet..

this should be a hard woofer to kill.... :D

motor dimensions are:

20x200mm Washer

3 - 20x220 mm slugs

21x200mm T-yoke with a 15 degree pitch / 103mm core

in other words... Big ass mota!

The OEM has thermal specs on them but that's why Loyd has one - to see what they are capable of doing...

and a bunch of boxes, cars, and people ready to get at it..

should prove to be a fun Saturday..

Loyd, what size enclosures are you using? I will try to build a different size so we can add that data to the info on the prototype.

Okay this is a Neb Question but what is the Washer and T-yoke??

I am guessing the washer is the hole forming the pole vent and the T-yoke would be the claws of the basket?

Yeah, the language of the bigbassman can sometimes be difficult to interpret:

washer = top plate (the metal plate you see between the basket and the magnet)

t-yoke = the backplate with the shaft going up the middle of the magnet structure

Actually while I have a decent understanding of audio (In my opinion) I am not 100% up to snuff with proper terminology.
