Fiberglass Trunk Project

Recommended Posts

I started the process yesterday of fiberglassing new trunk panels that will tidy up my new install and help hide wires and organize distro blocks, crossovers, etc.

This one shows the new molding where the distrobution blocks will be displayed. I'm not sure exactly how i'm going to finish it, but this looks like a good start.

Here's the other side. It's been 'glassed too, but i'm not sure exactly how to finish it yet. I'm sure it will come to me :)

This is the nearly finished result. All I've got to do now is cut off the part that's not covered in fleece, resin up the fleece, wait for it to dry, cut the holes for the distribution block mounts, figure out a way to mount the plexi covers then cover it in foam rubber and black vinyl.....oh chit....this might take a while :)
