USAmps demo car amp's and sub's

Recommended Posts

Greetings from europe,

We are building the demo car for USAmps and RE for next summer, and we are brainstorming about witch amp's and subs tot put in this car.

We where thinking the folloing setups:

RE xxx 06 15" X2

RE xxx 06 15" X4 not enough room for a good box

RE xxx 06 15" X2 and RE xxx 06 12" X1 SPL and SQ option.

Front stage using the AX tube's

And the sub's using a couple of AX 2000 or AX 3000DE

Wath will rock the show so hard that all heads will turn our way :coolugh:

So it has to be loud .....mega loud on music only no pulsing

But is also needs to show off some great SQ, so a split system sould be best one QS other SPL (LSQ) sorry for that term but i mean verry loud music.

The car must keep some of its drive confort begause we will drive it to the car shows in the beginning, later its going on a trailer.

This is the car: Mercedes G-Class (pic's are stolen from cardomain) 364439_17_full.jpg

You want to have a 12" XXX in the same car as two 15" XXX's?

Yes this is a demo car so i will run two systems, one for SQ and one to go reaaaal loud.

But the will not play together if thats your question.

why not just run 3 15s. it will still sound just as good just be louder.

Yes the G-class is very beefy, not only the door latch hehehe

For each 15" XXX I was thinking AX2000 pure power, but okay need a very big alt, and batt's to feed these monsters.

But I am jus a class AB fan so this is my first option:D

Please keep the good ideas coming

then I vote for the dual 15's and make the most out of them,

how about an interchangeable port for daily and SPL

That is a good port option, but not very solid i think, but I could be wrong.

I think that 2X 15" XXX ported 2x AX2000, or AX3000DE

And one 12 ???seald TU1000 to make a good SQ setup also.

Front I will put 2 XXX compo's in each door, fully tube/

So the SQ setup complete on tube amps, and the subs on the AX2000, maybe the AX300DE.

??? any good ???

Looks empty, I realy like to put in 4 15" xxx that will rock for sure, but there is no room I think, plus 4 AX2000, or AX-DD X2 :OhYeah:

if you put in the AX-DD that would be awesome to show that thing off, if not the 3000DE would be a good choice since many people have seen the 2000X's

not here in europe, and the 2000x is not the AX2000 ......almost but its still diverent.

And if you put in two that looks great, but de Double D look massive, very good for a showcar :OhYeah:

There is no recone for these subs otherwise it would be a good idea.

Really scott from Fi can't recone those?

I think that if you want to get really loud you should use a couple of the RE MT's. My friend has 2 12" RE MT's in a CRX with 4 DD amps running them and it hits a 161.3 on the new term lab mics. So you should be able to put up some good numbers with the right power in that big beast of a car.
