I'm new to this forum, so let me know if this has already been covered.

I have a Carvin HD900 amp and a RLP15d2 driver and want to build an MDF enclosure. I would like to position the driver so it is downward firing and would also like to have port(s), perhaps on the rear. I would like to have a width of 20" and height isn't a concern. I think I want to tune to around 14hz (want something really low) and need to know about amounts of polyfill inside the enclosure as well as internal bracing requirements, etc. Basically the whole picture:) I'm gonna run 900w in 4ohm bridged mono mode for power (think that makes sense...lol).

Please help!! Thanks!!

are you looking for a set of plans? with layout and all? you might want to email mike directly for proper size and application as he has actually used the rl-p in home i believe....

with the proper sizd box, poly fill shouldn't be necessary, unless you are going for ultimate sq in which your wnating to cancle internal standing waves...

bracing will need to be on all long panels...especially with that power and at that tuning...lol...that's going to be a ground shaker....

wish i could help you more, but i think mike himself is the man to talk to on this one....

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:
