Start of Install. Components

JL Audio XR 5.25 components. This is my first time haveing to make speaker rings for them to fit so i only got one door done today =\ o well its progress i guess. i had to remake the rings 2ce becuase of the way the door panel is curved and i didnt really wnat to cut the panel so here are a few pics from my day today. For the tweets, i just glued a peice of wood to the back of the pod as u can see in the pics and then screwd the mounting bracket for the tweet onto it. looks decent for my use and get the job done.

Nice, baffle mounting is definetely the way to mount drivers in your doors. Some deadening will really help them come to life though.

coolness. see if you can get some sound deadener around them speaker rings. to fill the little gaps.
