weird amp problem pls help......

hey guys does this pic look like the right way to have my subs wired???....like i said my subs have 1 set of + and one set of - on each side of the sub.

/\ really, really wrong. Not the cause of your noise, but wrong. What equipment is it that you are hooking up? It might be your expectations of the gain settings and the reality of what they will do is not right. It is really hard to trouble shoot something when the only description is that you have grumbling noises. You still haven't told us if it goes away when you unplug the rca's like I asked a couple days ago. (please unplug them when its off to prevent transients). Then do the switch as well and see. And please before asking more open ended questions give us a description of what you have and how its installed. Pictures are worth a 1000 words as well.

ok ive tried using a different set of rca's from the HU to the amp and the noise was still there....when i uplugged the rca from the amp the noise went away.and even after i resanded both amp grounds down to bare metal cause they werent i still had the same noise and cracklin....no more no less.And for some other strange reason when i turn the deck all the way down to 0 it gets twice as loud.My HU is the pioneer 760mp and of course the subs are audiobahn and the amp is the nine.1.The guys from ED (alex) is the one that told me how to hook up those subs...he made that pic for me as a ref. So whatever else i can tell you let me know.

If the noise goes away when the RCAs are unplugged, then it is not the amp. The problem will be either the HU or the RCAs. Check the HU ground.

well i just ordered my ken x889 today so even if its not the HU at least i will have a better HU in the long run.it should be here next week.
