I am pretty sure they sold their shares of them to VW. I know they switched to the W12 <--funny chit, W#!?! from a V12 bm'er engine. "think" it happened around the time they sold off Rover from Mini to Ford.

from what I understand, I do not believe the Lambo had much work done to it buy Audi engineers. I thought it was more a sharing of resources and equipment to build a better more reliable car.
