he should get a brake cover.

Basiclly its a chrome or other material piece that fits on the back of the rim, it basiclly covers up all the open area..

But thats just me..

I don't care if you guys don't normally sell brake kits, but sell him one anyway. Just order anything online, that cannot be anywhere near safe.

Curious to see how you think it drives??

And definetely pics of the install would be sweet.

I noticed a braking difference moving to 20's with 285/50/20 tires. I can't imagine how bad it sucks to hit the brakes with 28's. BTW, 28's look kind of gay on that.......maybe a different vehicle but it's to big for me.

28's are gay anyway. absolutely not reason to have rims that big on a street vehicle, especailly flimsy open spoked ones like that. Extra rolling mass FTL, Gasmileage loss on an already gas sucking vehcile FTL, low pro's on what is sapposed to be an offroad FTL, his breaks FTL (doesnt matter if he just had them put on, you do NOT drive big rims w/o brake upgrades).

That is all

pics of audio install please, other than that this truck is gay.

tis funny....but mike1 is right..the wheels are a good design. just way too big and the brakes (<---cbfryman, notice the spelling there?) are just whacked behind those monsters.

does he have a body lift on that already or are his nerf bars on drop brackets?

can't wait to see the install bro!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Shit, I remember a few years ago ... if you were slammed and tucking 22's under a fullsize Chevy, you were the shit. Then came 23's on the Truckin'/Godfather Customs Sierra (red/yellow/black/etc all flamed out), 24's ... then wagon wheel 26's on the newer model Dodge Ram. Crazy.

I like the design of those wheels ... agree with everyone who mentioned "big brake kit" though.

Wheels are a great design, look ghey as hell on that though. SHit, you'd need a 20" rotor and 8 piston caliper just to stop the rolling mass of the wheels and tires. I bet he added a good 200+ pounds with those.
