Current set up: PSI P2 15"
Hifonics Zeus 3200.1d
Wired:2 Ohm

While listening to the music yesterday the bass suddenly cut off. Check the wires for amp everything looks secure. Check the subwoofer everything looks good. Amp turns on but sends no music. Is the amp blown?

Take the cover off the amp and look to see if something has fried. Hope all is well.

Inspected the sub further and just so I'm clear my sub is not supposed to look like this correct?

Looks like you toasted the voicecoil.  Just plain too much power...  And no, it isn't specifically because you were clipping your amp.  That amp can produce a 3200 watt sine wave and almost double that under certain conditions with certain signals.  That amp has enough power to blow ANY subwoofer.

You need to see if AC voltage is coming out of the amp at the speaker terminals while music is playing.  It should be between 5-40V and varying constantly...

Thanks for your help. Now to search for a sub replacement.

I highly recommend a zcon!
