My Tantrums will cause the radio noise floor to increase by almost 40dB from about 50MHz on down...even on FM which is naturally noise-rejecting. On AM and single sideband it's horrible. The upper VHF and UHF bands seem to be unaffected...

But I don't use the radios on the lower bands and have the amps on anyway, because I get nasty feedback through the speaker wire acting as a nice pickup loop Once again, 2 meters and up works fine.

Strange.
