Where do I need to apply sound proofing to these doors?

Apply CLD to the areas of the inner door that vibrate and resonate. We can't tell you where that is over the Internet.

If that plastic inner door is removable then I'd remove it and also apply to the outter door skin as well.

Yes it is a plastic panel.

They are SCREAMING for MLV as well. Complete coverage with that, just a bit of CLD on the large expanses. Rap with your knuckles and keep attacking the most resonant spots.

Those doors are like the ones on my van.  As its been mentioned, remove the plastic panel.  You'll need to lower the window first as the window track and everything associated with it will come out with the panel.  Treat the sheet metal as previously described then put the window frame back on the door.  At this point you've done about all you can do.  I didn't have any luck with CLD tiles sticking to the plastic frame in the van, maybe you'll have more luck than I did.  As Sean mentioned it's time for CCF and MLV at this point.  On a side note, I was successfully able to remove the factory baffle from the frame and bolt on an MDF baffle but it wasn't easy.

Good luck with it man.

I'm glad to hear you got it done!

It's hard to believe the cost, time and trouble are worth it with sound deadening until you hear it for yourself.

Which Pioneers did you end up using? I can't remember exactly but it seems like they were the TS-D1720's. Either way it sounds like you're enjoying them!

Yes those are the one's and I can hear music I never heard before.

Great speakers for my small jeep Liberty.
