IA 3.4 at 8 Ohms?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about running a set of Peerless SLS 8" mid bass drivers on my IA 3.4 amp. The Peerless SLS's are 8 ohms, so if I were to run the 3.4 bridged would I get around 110 watts per channel for an 8 ohm load?

8ohms is the way to go, and that should be plenty. On most active setups you don't need a ton of power. I noticed with my neo pro 10s crossed over at 80hz and 4khz I got only a small boost in output and clarity when switching from 180w each to 600w each. They take it like a champ suprisingly enough too wink.png
