Damages to My Sub

When i Had a problem about a month ago my Sub would make a burp sound once in a while and i was wondering if that damages the Sub

It isn't good if it makes any sounds other than the music it is supposed to be playing.

 

If you are bottoming it out (clank/clap/popping noise) you are causing permanent damage somewhere, every time.  This is caused by improper installation and/or operation.

unless it was bottoming out the sub's suspension then i doubt it hurt something.

Shouldnt be the sub's, my guess is its you'd HU or amp

Check your wiring, then probably do it again. You seemed very confused about quite a few things a while back IIRC from some of your older posts jj

when exactly did this sound occur? Did you notice a pattern when it would happen? You should, as bad as it sounds, try to get it to make that sound intentionally, that way, you will know exactly what is causing it.

this had happened when my dads car battery  had died but then we changed it and it hasent happened anymore but i was just asking if that one time it made a burp sound if it damaged my sub

you did not describe the problem enough but I will try:  When you plug in or unplug things from your H/U make sure the volume is down...I assume this hasn't happened again since you did not mention so.  In that respect I would say no that you did not do damage to your sub as long as it still plays music cleanly, and I'm almost positive it does.  Make sure that the fuse coming from the battery is in good condition and not faulty.  If it happens again make note of what you were doing when it happened.
