Swift's 2012 F250

Recommended Posts

Well, here goes yet another build. I got me another F250, this one will look better, perform just as well and possibly be just as loud at some point. But for now I will keep it simple for atleast a few months, this build may change alot as time goes on, as have all my builds. lol But I am definitely keeping this truck.

2012 F250 6.7 Diesel, Lariat 4x4 Sterling Gray, 35% tint

2A5B69EF-E0F5-42A5-80B8-C5F8EFFE3AD3_zps

Mods planned

22 x 12  Gear Alloy Big Block wheels (black)

35 x12.5 x22 Toyo MT's

Amp Power steps

4.5in lift kit, dual steering stabilizers

Recon Black Halo Projector LED headlights

Recon Smoke LED tailights

Paint matched bumpers and grill surround

Line-X bed

Slim low profile black toolbox for bed also

Audio plans (for now)

Pioneer or Alpine double din (unsure which one yet)

Second Skin throughout

Incriminator Audio 6.4

Nice components for the front

Sundown SD-12 (sealed) under the rear seat

Again this is just for now, I may go crazy with it, unsure yet. My wall can be installed in a day if I choose smile.png

Lift will be put on Friday, wheels should be here within 10-15 days. I will take my time with this one and do everything the way I want.

I knew it wouldn't last long lol. Looking forward to it brother. If you get froggy and decide to get horns again Eric Steven's sells them direct for 300 brand new in the box for his mini pro's which are extremely close to what you had.

U used my mom's 3/4 ton chevy today ab dloaded it down with a ton, literally a ton, and didn't even know it was back there.  The manufactures have came a LONG way over the past 6 years or so.

Really happy with this new motor. It's just as strong stock as my built 07 was. Should be sick with the aggressive stance I had decided on. Hoping the tires don't rub and I don't have to trim much.

Got the lift on. Rides great. Now hopefully my wheels and tires will be here soon. Gonna start looking into the audio portion next.

The lift is a 4.5in Rough Country kit with dual steering stabilizers. It has a 4in block in the rear but I think I will be putting a 5in block in the rear to get the back up alittle more. Overall for the money spent I am very impressed with the ride. Gonna see how she looks with the wheels on first. Truck is much higher than it looks in the photos.

Wheels came today and got them on. Love the look but the rear needs to come up another inch. Im not a huge fan of the "cali lean" lol. Next up is to remove the side steps and PlasticDip the bumpers, grill surround and mirrors until I can have it all paint matched.

Nice wheels look good, I would leave the bumper and grill chrome untill you can get it color matched.

I think you need some more tire.

Maybe after these wear out I will go 37's but it's plenty high on 35's. With the aggressive offset I would probably have to do trimming of the bumper to clear them. It's hard for a picture to show just how big these trucks are as the side mirrors are higher than my head. Lmao.

Really want to get a build going here. I now have a Pioneer 80prs to use. Also have a DSS Ethos 15 or a Sundown SD12.

If I run the SD12 I will do a under rear seat sealed box and will get a set of nice components. If I want to run the DSS 15 I will have to either remove the 40 split in the rear or run my center console back there and find some bucket seats to run.

Im kinda stumped at this point on which direction to go

Here is what I have have laying around in my garage, lol. Just unsure what to use.

15in DSS Ethos

12in Sundown SD-12

Crescendo BC2000

Incriminator Audio 6.4

125ft of 2/0, 40ft of 1/0 (plenty to do whatever I want)

1 set of Sundown 6.5 components (may or may not use)

2 Crescendo PWX 6.5's (will not use)

2 FT1 tweeters (may or may not use)

May run active and try out some high quality 6.5's or 8's for the doors and look for some wide range tweeters. IDK WTF I want to do..........................
