Hugo, you think it would work on my 4.3? I can only add 1 more alt. See pic.

I've looked at the 4.3 in depth. I would remake the whole braket. It would be pretty nutty, but thats the only way i see it being done. I dont really see where an add on braket could be placed. Lemme look some more.

What output alternators is this ??? You think you will need more than a pair of 280s ???

Those are both stock alts. The plan is to keep the passenger side alt at 12v to run the truck accessories. Then a pair of 350s on the driver side to power the audio. Not having any batteries, I feel I need as much amperage as possible during my 30 sec music runs.

Gotcha ... Gonna be a tight fit for three.

Worst case you could (if you plan to trailer the truck) is not to have a alternator for the truck itself ...

I know of plenty of 1/4 mile race cars with no alternators ...

Truck will be a driver. Look at the picture. There is tons of room for 1 more alternator.

6 holes each for alternator runs. (12 total)

12 holes for the runs to the amps.

The holes fir amps and alts are drilled and tapped.

Good call.  Since you are going from Aluminum bar to copper connectors (I assume) make sure and dap a little Noalox  between the metals...

It should be used anytime you use aluminum and copper. All AC & DC connections.

Cool thing about it is, if your connections (being in the back of your truck) get exposed to anything like humidity, heat, cold, smoke, etc the Noalox will keep them 100%...  In addition to keeping any contact resistance from developing...

 

We use it all the time on outdoor connections...  Have pulled some apart that are 10 years old and the metal is nice and clean in the connection area...
