No Neal. From what I've seen they only sell the blue caps new anymore and those are 2.7v 3kf.

The black ones are 2.5v 2600F. The black ones I have come used around $20-25 each. The blue ones are $60-80.

Lol hiding it from the wife? J/K

No sir. It was her idea. But my house is up for sale and I don't want a junkie looking truck in my driveway. I may swap the SS and the S10 at my work so it's inside. Then I can work on the truck at home.

Not sure, but I am going to ask a couple guys at work who do large rebuilds on motor starters and our sub stations. We use large caps and it is worth checking into.

I was reading on their sight and some of those caps look similar to what is in use. I will keep you posted as to what I find out.

Next up, buss bars. I have some 1/2x2" flat stock coming. Should have in a few days. Then on to mounting them in the bed, run cables, and fab up a dual alt bracket under hood.

I must say I have a few good friends. Buddy if mine stopped by my warehouse on Friday and said he had some wheels that would fit. He said they were kinda rough and had been sitting a long time. Well he brought them over today and I scrubbed them up. Man these things are in great shape. All tires were flat. I will hit them with some polish and the powerball foam thing.
