I know that...

...I want to know what other amps have this feature.

My old US Amps had a sperate remote turn on plug so you could hook up 2 extra remote turn ons.

Pro's - no remote wire...

Con's - possible turn off/on thump...

The Bazooka Tube I had did this; when I added a line driver, it basically fixed it (isolated the rca's). I turn the vehicle off (radio still plays), line driver turns off (no thump), and radio turns off when I open the door (O.E.M. design).

why would you want it. the JL's and every other amp ive experenced which have this feature take as long or longer than tube amps to turn on. Becuse not only does it have to recognise a signal but it also has to go through the initial current checks and all. Waste of good music time IMO. When you have to wait 20sec to hear music, that = ghey.

Take the 20 seconds & fasten your seatbelt, adjust the mirrors, adjust the climate controls, etc...

...before you blast your music in a residential area.

i generally, get in, buckle, roll window down, crank, and i want tunage from the amps in the time it takes my CD player to start reading the MP3 CD.

climate controlls and mirrors are for the weak...i cant see out of anything but my inside rearview, sorta, anyway.
