how can I join the cult?

Recommended Posts

I bought a 2004 Dodge ram 2500 quadcab back in mid 2005, finally a few weeks ago it arrived in Norway.. not bad waiting 5-6months for your car? :o

so now its' here and I'm happy. due to norwegian laws I have to pay a tax to use the backseats.. so can you say loads of room for subs? :)

been surfing to and from trying misc sites and forums which subs to get, but all the norwegian ones are infected with dealers trying to push their stuff and nobody has ever testet anything it seems.

after surfing around it still seems SI holds it own against JL and RE (forum rumours eh)

now the hard part.. SI is even more mysterious than RE, at least SI has MSRP up, but where can you actually get a pair of 12s? and what models are the "new" is the BM anything to opt for instead of the regular ones?

I clicked "order online" and figured hey this is easy, but want speakers, not gaskets and shirts! so what's the deal? do I email someone to get a password to a secret cultside with a store? or is there an easier way?

some pics of the truck with a h2 (silly toy)

also a pic with my mini, the ram is actually lowerd with OEM wheels on this one for DMV registration ;)

my other options are JL12W6v2 and Re XXX 06..

ampwise I'm option for a colossus II

neigbours looooooove my truck.. ehh noop :) mini and bmw 3 series are the norm here ;) but hey.. I need to tow race cars in style!

When I click on "order online" it takes you to a page with our dealer...not the merchandise page. Email our dealer and see what you can work out. Who knows, Show Rides might even tell you to talk directly to us instead b/c shipping these things anywhere but the US is a behotch.

If I had to pay to use my back seats I'd put subs there too. :slayer:

welcome to the forum, excellent choice in subs,

hmm after some testing it works in IE, not in firefox.

firefox scews everything 1 or 2 notches depending on where you start in the menys.

americans really don't like to trade intl do they, I had so much trouble getting the car home you have no idea.

guess I'll go emailing some then.

Its not that we don't like to trade internationally, the rest of the world just makes it hard for us to do. We aren't unionized like Europe to make it easy between countries.

I am sure that "Electrodynamic" can help you out, and you will love the SI's for sure!!

norway is not part of the union actually, so it's hard for us to trade with them as well ;)

yeah I've sent a message so we will se what happens.

there seems to be only a pair of the older gen D2's in the entire country here.

looking forward to see what happens

Welcome to the forum andersnor, you have made a good choice, I have only been on the forum for like 3 days, but you'll love SI's. But, only if you like, clean - hard hitting bass. :rockwoot:

I believe I talked to a customer in the past about shipping mags to Norway. He mentioned a company out of New Jersey that would do it at a fairly resonable price. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. I am sure either Nick or myself can help you out.

Also. nice truck!
