'00 camaro SS

Recommended Posts

Big engine plans. One thing at a time.

Interior, exterior, brakes/suspension, then engine.

Tons of performance around here so its not hard to find a good shop.

How hard is it to wrap? Roughly how much did the vinyl cost to do the whole car?

about 700. I have messed up some sheets and had to buy more. Define hard? Its not too easy. If your a perfectionist, don't try it. Almost impossible for me to get things perfect and it drives my nuts. I can't paint for shit and if I mess up the vinyl, I just peel it off.

Interior is 100% done. Waiting on a couple custom pieces to complete the exterior. 2-4 week lead time. Then ill tackle the corvette brake conversion and finish the suspension.

personality flaw.

Lately I've been spending my time with my family and newborn. Also at the gym trying to better myself.

Right on. Nothing wrong with a little balance and keeping everything in perspective. :)

Yes sir. No deadlines, no stress, no obligations. Just having fun building a bad ass car. Then sell it probably and start over.

From loading my car on and off the trailer I have beat up the other tips horribly. Plus they are paint oversprayed like hell.

Its funny to see absolutly zero damage behind the bumper. When I lost this thing on the trailer the whole center of the bumper was inverted. Busted bumper and bent fog light bracket. I can live with that.

Some more updates are in the works. Still need to wrap the front bumper and install it. I have the gunmetal racing stripes and buy tires for the new wheels. The exterior is just about finished.

Fitted the new front bumper tonight. The last piece of vinyl I bought is about 12 inches too short to wrap all the way around.

Fuck! Now I need to order a new piece. What a waste.

Looking good!  Keep it up!

Here's a pic of my Trans Am.  Love F-bodies in general.  We attend the F-body gathering in ATL every Memerial Day weekend.

Lookin good! I love my Camaros! I used to have a 97 before I realized I couldn't make two car payments... being in CT the truck won that battle.

Got the new vinyl today for the front bumper. Hopefully I don't screw it up. Doing a larger piece like this is tough to apply by yourself. If I can finish that tomorrow then all that is left is the small roof between the ttops and hatch. That's carbon fiber though. I'm so ready to be done wrapping this pig. Ready to move on to something else. Ugh, need to finish the door jamb too.
