Badass man!!! Lets see it in the car with subs in it now wink.png

I have another three weeks before my recones get here. I still have some mid's and highs to install. Debating on eliminating my rear fill mid drivers and just doing a bad ass front stage. I need to sound deaden the entire rear deck anyway.

Well I have hit yet another snag in this project. I have to replace my rear struts before anything else can be done. Shouldn't be too big of an issue besides the funding. I hope to keep things on schedule and will update this log with everything being done. To all of those reading and watching my build, if you are new to audio, it takes a lot more than just throwing a box, some wire, an amp, and subs in your car to have a slamming system that will last for years. It gets expensive, and these kinds of issues are to be expected. trippy.gif

How's your suspension coming along?

Rear struts are changed and working well. I am devoting the entire day to working on the system in the morning. Rear deck fabrication, new wiring for mids and highs, enclosure placed, amp racks and battery bank mach fit.

Thanks nem. My friend is way better at reconing than I am. I'd have glue all over the place.

Did you do any other prep before carpeting? Just wondering because it looks super clean.

The saran on the box is also a great idea, I was going to use painters plastic but like your idea better!

Not much prep needed. I just made the driver panels, made sure it all fit, then i put the carpet on with the speakers in their new nest.

It was a quick easy way to avoid getting foam on the carpeting. I am going to cut the excess off after I get the trunk sealed off. The front of the box will be beautified as well as the battery bank in back. I plan on mounting the S1200's in the corner with a tray in between them and go from there.
