P.S

These suckers MOVE...wowza

They put the DD's to shame.

At higher excursion you get tinsel lead slap, but you have to have them turned up pretty loud.

Lower volume's its fine.

The reaason being is because whoever designed the terminals is an idiot.

They put the + on one side and the - on teh opposite side. They left the tinsel leads to long.

The leads come directly off the coil, not through the cone like most woofers.

Thats why they hit.

me likey, me likey alot. Though ported will take up alot of room, maybe it will stop the slap. Another thing you could do is glue some felt where the leads are hitting the cone. The coak's i got from Flakko had that done between the tweeter and the cone. realt phase plugs FTW. get some vid of it getting stroked :D

There is no noise.

You almost have to get it to dance on the back plate to get them to make noise.

They just made them to long, thats all

I can't wait to see a review of these next to the Extremis... Mainly in the sq category. I'm still debating with myself on what to put in my next home/dorm setup, dual extremis, or these.

Just remember that the extremis are 3x the price.

But that could be for a reason....

Is that actually a real phase plug? I can't tell whether that glue is just holding the cone to the former or if it's actually gluing the "phase plug," Which would make it nothing more than a dust cap. They look exceptional for $35 drivers.

Yes.

I tried to focus it but i just wouldnt work.

When i saw pics i thought the phase plug was fake and was just glued on the cone.

The distance between the 2 is very small, thats why it looks that way.
