are dual sub boxes with a shared chamber bad?

i wanted to get the maximum amount of cubes i could get in my small pickup so i was thinking about a box that has shared chambers. are there any cons or bad things about a box for two subs with a shared chamber? its going to ported also and its for two fi bl 15s

As long as they are fed the same signal, no issues.

You'll be good to go. Just make sure you have plenty of bracing. When making a long box you can run into problems with the front and back of the box wanting to flex when playing.

Downsides to common chamber are the lack of bracing provided by the separator (not an issues as long as you use adequate bracing elsewhere), and if one driver fails it potentially increases the ability to mechanically damage the remaining good driver due to the change in alignment.  Otherwise no issues.
