You should throw an air ride suspension under it and I suppose your going with the LS motor for better fuel mileage over a carberated motor.

it already has air shocks, which I know is not the same as a true air ride suspension, but i've already had one of the air lines get a hole in it and cause the fender to tear up the sidewalls of the tires. i am not a big fan of air suspension at all.....it's not reliable nor safe enough for me.

LS = better fuel economy and a ton more power than a regular carb'd sbc, plus it's a lot more dependable as well

got the rear end back and the shop couldn't do anything with it, they did say i could torch it out somehow, but they weren't going to do it. so now i'm on the look for another 10 bolt or possible 12 bolt.

ran the hardlines and have them mounted up.....and so it continues

what does the floor and trunk look like?

I know alot of older cars the trunk and floor is rusted to hell and u could turn into a flintstone if your not careful.

ie: riding in my buddies old impala wt hydrualics, man hits the switches and the floor beneath me bends downward smh

the driver floor pan is gone, but it has been temp fixed by some previous owner, tin siliconed down to the floor =[ it sickens me, but it will be replaced when it goes to the shop

the trunk is intact, but where the gas tank straps mount on the trunk, it's rusted through a good bit and i want to get it fixed asap, along with the passenger shock mount, it's rusted through, but still solid. once i get the disc brakes on and it's able to be driven again, it's going to get the trunk and frame rails replaced asap! the driver floor pan may have to wait a little while, at least until funds recooperate lol

the white/clean part is still trunk, it's where the sound isolator pad was at to prevent the gas tank from rubbing/squeeking on the trunk, but you can see in the top right where the rust ate through some of it where the gas tank straps attach

I did manage to get the booster mounted and secured, along with the distribution block and hardlines secured. Tomorrow will hopefully consist of putting the front end suspension back together!

Well, me and a friend ended up drilling out the centering pin far enough where the threaded part of it is and then we ended up beating the crap out of the pin to knock it out.

All because of this stupid bolt!

Haven't done too much lately, but I did manage to get the backing plate on, mounting bracket, shocks, and the tie rods/steering arm.

Just need to torque down the control arms, sway bar end links, and attach the tie rods and the front end is complete!

Been out of the loop for awhile since the girlfriend has been taking up a lot of my time. However, I've been able to do a little here and there.....so the rear end is cleaned up and painted, and I just removed the old wheel studs and am going to put the new ones in tomorrow.

I also finally received both of my leaf springs and have pretty much everything to put it all back on the car. Just need the weather to be nice and it should be back in driving condition in a few days.

You have a nice car , i would like to say that you should make some graphic work or wrapping on it because your car is little bit old but it has a nice color and i think if use install some black graphic work on it than it will look cool and more attractive.

Now that the gf is done with school, I'm not running the roads as much. Already have the rear end about ready to be put back in.

Not too much left to do, had a bit of trouble with the caliper brackets and spacers the kit came with, but it's figured out and everything is as it should be.
Today I should be sliding it back under the car along with the new leaf springs and I'm hoping I can get the fuel tank back there too!

Leaf springs are in, rear end is in, just need to finish bolting up the shocks and torque everything when I set it down. Also, need to run the lines on the rear which shouldn't be a big deal, then it's time for the gas tank to go back in and hopefully it's done and ready for an alignment!

parking brake cables are on and working, hard lines all hooked up, and it's that much closer to being back on the road!
Just need to put the tie rod ends on, torque everything down and then put the gas tank back in.
