*note, I didn't read these yet and don't expect someone else too, but thought hmmm<br /><br />Arduinno with digital volume pot + CAN Bus interface = full integration IF there is an analog audio signal coming from the deck. I am looking for a decent code reader and was wondering what you would use. I would like to buy from sears, but if you can point me to another for similar money I will go that route. I just want something to read codes and be able to reset them, nothing super pricy, but less than $250.00.

If you just want to read faults and reset the standard ones the amazon bluetooth connect to your smart phone reader for $15 works.

 

I looked at them, but figured they were junk. Do you have one of have ever used one?

 

Good stuff usually. A couple of my friends have something similar, they use Bluetooth ELM327 interfaces off ebay. Cheap, simple and they work well.

Oil change tomorrow before work or on friday. Hoping the brakes won't need replaced too. 46k on the truck, and i've only needed to replace the tires, windshield wiper blades, and changed the air filter for a k&n.
