M5 or 6 BMW deep dish are sooooooooo sexy.

I couldn't find a pic of them. The new M6 grand touring rims are unfucking believable.

Those are 3 piece forged Automotoring with a 5 inch lip on the rear and 3 inch lip on the front. They were ~1,800 a piece in '07

Much lighter than factory?

1800 a price is brutal. Did you get the for a customer?

He ordered them from somewhere. It was for a buddy of mine. I bought it from him a little bit after when he got a R8

Fuuuuuuuuuck the closest S5 with a V8, under 30k is 450 miles away.

Audi of Mpls has 2. One is 41, the other 51. 2010 and 2012. That is insane.

It ran like a scalded dog. Traded it in for a Q5. It was plaqued with electrical issues that needed corrected but was under warranty. The ole lady didn't like it due to the transmission. It gets a little use to an automatic transmission that shifts. I found it a bit irritating in slow traffic, especially when turned up to where it doesn't shift until about 4k rpms

Go drive the one for 41. You may hate it.

Yup.

Then driving to get a car is no big deal.

I really don't expect to find what I want within a 1000 mi of here.

Scalded dog. I love it. What electrical issues.

I am reading more and it sounds like an uncivilized sedan. Kind of exactly what I want. And if the car is post 2007 it will have the pump and plate attachment to not burn clutches.

I found that a local Mpls shop will do a clutch and flywheel for about 2000-2500.

Not cheep, but really not the brutal amount I was thinking. Dealer was at 3500. That is a little bit harder to stomach.

You and your damn logic. You ready for the road trip when I go get the car?

Apparently the pre 2007 plate and pump improved cars should also have a recall and BMW is usually willing to fix clutches at 1/2 off if due to the plate issue.

Car shutting off while driving, electrical equipment shutting off and coming back on. Found to be a bad computer module. It's a sport sedan that drives comfortably even on the 22's. definatly a nice car if priced right. It is a 6 year old car after all. I personally wouldn't own a luxury import that old due to mechanical costs. I'd rather pay a note than have the risk of having to pay 2k for a brake job and service or 3k for a transmission repair. But that's just my personal preference. If the electrical wouldn't have been under warranty it would have cost me over 6k in parts and labor.

That is insane for electronic. There are apparently some good BMW mechanics in MN.... Maybe I will call them.
