3 of the heads are complete, with valves lapped, valve seals installed, springs and rocker arms installed but the fourth has a big casting sand piece in the cooling channels. If I shake it, it rattles. I let it soak for 36hrs with diesel, it only seems like it got smaller. Let it soak for 1 hour with engine degreaser, nothing. I can't reach it with a piece of wire either.

For all the other heads, the diesel worked wonders in cleaning the casting sand but this one is iffy. Any ideas on what I can use to soak the casting sand? They're aluminum heads.
