Creatine, nope...

Should I have been taking it?

Of course

Creatine is a really good product in general. For most people it can help them gain performance and thus gain size and drop some fat.

It really is a helpfull tool. For most is is something you would add to you sugary drink after lifting, or for some, before the work out. Creatine is part of our ATP cycle so it directly impacts performance, and it is most found in meats. Red meats if I remember right. So if you don't want a steak 2 times a day creatine can help.

Time to try out some then.

Obviously get a good brand but get the cheap pure stuff. I think that cellucors is full of gimmicks and concreet is as well. Normal ON creatine at 5g per lifting day is perfect IMO.

Have another buddy in critical condition after a motorcycle accident, this is just becoming a recurring nightmare.

Sorry to hear this Rick.

I missed this. Sorry to hear it. Best wishes.

Yes, plain ole creatine monohydrate, standard or micronized, will do the trick. Micronized just means they took the creatine and smashed into a smaller size for better mixability. CreaPure brand is considered the gold standard supplier. Any brand that uses CreaPure will gladly put it on the label somewhere. Shouldn't be more than $25 USD for 1 Kg.

I well, the gimmicky part might be true, maybe. I can't say for sure. I would say to used it every day not just lifting days though, and for me even some of the best brands of "plain" creatine monohydrate mess with my stomach a bit. If you mix it in your post work out or pre work out sugar drink, then rock on. I also like the flavored stuff.... Because it's flavored.

:)

I do not have measurable results on every day vs just lifting days, so I cannot tell you for sure, but for meas itit's cheeper than dirt ever time I ran a test with it I just opted for complete saturation vs just a bit more on lifting days.

All forms of creatine EXCEPT creatine ethyl ester will give comparable results. However, just how much do you want to pay for it? ;)

For example, one tub of ProMera CON-CRET (48 servings) costs as much as one tub Optimum Nutrition Micronized Creatine (240 servings).

Yup. I just buy a pre workout, with the stuff in it now.

Flavor has become more important to me.

Good point on the tempur. They are great for doggy style. You get bitchen traction, and no ones knees will ever hurt because of the pressure relief.

The best beds for pure hard pounding fucks would be really shifty for sleep. It would be a hard bouncy bed.

Well that's their gig.....rough sex and using the bed as a couch. He has not so good joints and I figure why not ask someone who sells beds for a living what they thought was best for rough sex and a couch as one.

Traction FTW ! You get nowhere without traction.

Went biking with the "seniors", pretty slow pace, 2 fell off and hurt their knees, one had little experience. I actually won a case of beer for climbing a very steep hill

Managed to get to 30 mph downhill through the woods.

But still, 40 miles in 90 degree weather is though.

Buying a preworkout with creatine in it lets you stretch out a bulk tub of creatine rather well. I used to take 35g a week creatine, now it's only 20g since MP Assault has creatine in it.

Can a hard workout upset your stomach? I was shitting liquid couple days ago, but I am not sure it is food poisoning as it only occurred after a hard ride on the bicycle.

I didn't eat lot before I went for a ride.

Yes, but usually not for a few days. If you haven't puked while squatting you haven't been squatting. Edited by dem beats

Or shit your pants. Hardcore squatters use butt plugs for a reason.

Most pre workouts only have about a gram. (At least that's what C4 has).

So the wife and I have spent the last few days in Colorado. It has been awesome. I'm LOVING the 40-75 weather. Even rain is enjoyable.

We ended up with a sx500 Canon (she didn't want to spend much and I didn't care to fight it). I'll post photos up after we return.
