Sorry Aaron, I know you guys make money off forum space and the store, and here we are running off potential customers/advertisers.

I knew it was gonna happen the second I seen Sean jump into the discussion lol.
I was actually rather diligent in my wording to make sure it would come off as helpful as well. They obviously were fishing in their reply. Paint me the bad guy. Those guys are going to fail miserably as business owners though with that attitude. Yikes.

yeah, I read that. People do take you differently though. I know you meant well, but people who don't really know you..........that's another story.

BTW, I'm R1. If you want to learn the most on the modular engines, you really need to visit the Mustang specific forums. Then when you need something truck specific, head to the truck forums. f150online, and fordfullsize are your best bets.

Shit. I'm sorry. R1.

I have been backwards. Started on f159 online, but for performance you are right. A mustang forum would be most useful.

I just thought I wouldn't get traction asking about 5.4 for a truck, but a lot of those guys like the 5.4.

In particular when they expected and in this case I think even wanted it up front.

Sean sounds like an ass hole to those who don't want to listen. Funny thing is that his primary and fundamental driving force is that he tries to leave things better than the way he found them.

Never met anyone else who helped me touch up a resume, in less than a day loaned me 750+ bucks in stuff so I could help my family, and let me have just about the ONLY relaxing day of last year.

It is kind of amusing that he gets the focus of what is our go to antagonist. Not that he is a hero by any conventional wording, but he is a great whipping post. Like another capers crusader, he is the hero SSA needs.

ROFLMAO.

I doubt he will even know the movie reference....

It was a poor attempt at humor that didn't come thru words.

Sean reminds me a lot of my dad. Even thought he sounds like a dickhead he most of the time doesn't mean to project it as such. However 99 percent of the time his way is the right way. It's just that 1 percent of the time where he needs to back off. But again that one percent he's not really trying to be an ass that's just his personality. And someone needs to crack the whip and bring him back to reality.

And on that topic Sean, I grabbed my camera bag if you wanted to meet up today. Tomorrow might be better?

I have to go into work to clean up some issues and help the guy in the store. He is stuck with this managers fucked invintory.

I just ripped something in my back last night too. Hard to get in and out of the truck... But these seats... Ahhhh

I thin Sean is a great guy also. Hard to understand at first, but really does mean well. I think that people are so use to REAL assholes and trolls on other forums that when they come here they don't know how to respond and just get upset because of all the questions that are asked and how in depth the conversations are. These guys are use to Meades board where everybody is a nut hugger and if one guy they know does a clamp test and it comes out better than advertised specs then they are all over it. It could be some POS brand like Pyle, but as long as a couple guys clamp the amp and it exceeds printed power they are all over it reguarless how dirty the amp really is. They are nothing but cattle for the most part when it comes to gear so most people aren't use to technical discussion and they get frustrated.

The staples interview went very well. Was asked back for a second all day 'interview' today, but as I thought the lil lady had some interviews today, and I have a DoD interview Thursday, I asked if I could do Friday instead. They informed me that they will be out of town Friday so Monday would be best. When told DoD took prescidence for me and my goals the interviewer understood, and said I would be foolish if I didn't feel that way.

The all day 'interview' is me shadowing one of their sales reps for a day, and seeing what he/she does for the day. To see if its somethng I think I can do, and teach others to do as they need managers, but you must start at the bottom. The pay is negotiable, but they are talking a 40 hr week starting at 500 a week with incentive pay on top based upon performance. Could be a great thing, could be shit. Also depends on how much of this 'sales' time is spent driving to and from businesses. I could eat 500 bucks pretty quicky, especially wince its 45 mins each way to and from the office. Then add in any other clients I need to go visit.....yikes.

I've thought about it. I have a MUCH more direct route to the engineers and manufacturers than any of the asshats that are doing it. Problem is my ideals are marketable so that means succombing to BS and I have no interest in that.

What BS would you need to succomb to? i think if the product is done right, maketing would be rather easy.

Tomorrow is great. I have a meeting with GM from 12-1 but can meet you after if a slightly late lunch is acceptable.

I am not interested in running any company that provides a product that isn't in such a niche that only it works. Me too and differentiation or lack there of is not of interest.

That's why you need a big house, so the kids don't hear the kinky stuff.

I can see the desire to have a 'monopoly' on a product. On the same hand, with competition comes growth, innovation, and a better product. You could be that competitn for these companies to make them do things the right fucking way.

Never asked for a monopoly, just want a defined niche. A fits all solution, meh

Well, thats a 200k car that only a few will be made and even less will own one. I can go down to dealer and drive off in a gt500 today, Thats what interests me. The GT500 isnt cheap by any means but it can be had in the 50's.
