Men's warehouse always has enough selection and halfway smart people to help me.

I like Ralph Lauren for affordable options. Joseph Aboud makes great budget shirts, they might make good suits. None in my size ever. What I will tell you J is that spending 600 bucks or so is just about the minimum for something you can wear regularly and be comfortable. Make sure it's all wool and feels good.

Now is that 600 if on sale or regular price? I ask because some are a nice chunk off (Donald Trump, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren) and are reduced to about 400.

Basically selling the whole weekend and part of the weekdays, worth of volume in one day feels awesome.

Nice job man.

J

My DM was in the store and I killed him in sales too. 7000 vs his 2000 or so.

BOOMSHAKALAKA

He also wanted to mention to me that he and the other DM's are looking at me for some growth opportunity. His words were "something bigger and better", and that when talking about the chance my name kept comming up.

Wooooooha!

Damn man. That is one hell of a day.

J

I met my new bitch today. Apparently part of my gig is getting an
apprentice. While that may seem to be a downside, I am actually pretty
pleased. I am definitely not a natural. I have worked with and know guys
who are just gifted, born that way. I am not, I have spent a lot of
time learning in school, and most importantly from other techs. I always
listen, and have learned from master mechanics and guys who couldn't
change a spare tire. I have gotten very good, and I share my knowledge
with anyone who asks. So it is kind of cool that I can be that guy. Plus
I get paid for what he does to help me.

That is a sweet deal Seth as long as he wants to learn.

I do believe it's the stiff ass suspension 5 minutes of free air and the parameters have already fallen by half per the DATS.  Looking pretty good compared to my parameters modeled by FEA.

As a side note, I despise buying a suit. I need. 44 or 46 regular jacket depending on brand, and 36 or 38 pants. It seems like suits expect the pants to match the jacket size.

Aside from BOSS as Sean recommended, does anyone recommend anyone else? I don't need 1000 dollar suits, but I don't see the point in buying a cheaply made suit with poor materials.

J

I bought the $200 works suit from Jos.ABanks and got it professionally tailored and it works great for the interview. The pants don't feel as nice as my $150 pair but I rarely have to wear a jacket so I wear those generally.

I don't own a suit, need to get one though.

Headed out tomorrow for Colorado springs in the morning, spending the week out there for work.

Really just need a jacket at least. Can't find one in town in my size. No real surprise there though.

Nobody understands the necessity of competition unless you live it.

DLs aren't the only option but is an option.

George Zimmerman not guilty...

As soon as they asked for clarification of manslaughter and the article explained it, i had a feeling he was going to be not guilty by a long shot

No, overly stiff suspension that's not mated well to the rest of the driver = a really fucked up response curve

I always buy during a big sale. BOGO or something similar. I will look at the label on my favorite RL and tell you if there is some designation to the line. It isn't purple label, I can tell you that.

I also ended up with a shit more sales after close tonight. I did more than twice my stores goal budget in my numbers alone. About 14000-16000 myself. And another 2 for my DM.

Too bad the manager called in today. :-)

In one day I did about a week or so of business. It was a lot of good worked for sales too. No lambchops, everyone took work.

My DM also mentioned I was the #1 in sales for the first week of this period, and that put me at the #2 spot for overal "ranking".

Highest ticket average too.

Fortunately or unfortunately whatever.... He didn't break the law according to the state.

Arguably. But he wouldn't be hit for murder. Manslaughter would be tough too. Maybe some lighter version of it.

well, my daughter decided to put my headphones in the microwave and cook the shit out of them. asked he why she did that and all she had to say was "pet snake". me: Honey, you don't put pet snakes in the microwave though. her: oh, I'm sorry dad. bless her little heart. I'm now 2 pairs of AQ headphones down and now have a pair of Soundqubed headphones on the way. I just hope they still make them the same way with the same drivers and chambers as they use to.

I am looking mainly at sales. But my question is should the 600 dollar min price tag be while on sale or regular price? If BOGO wouldn't that be 1200 per suit, or 300?

Tons of ignorant comments about this decision are popping up. I won't say how I feel either way, but people seriously shouldn't talk about shit that they don't know any facts about. It's sad that someone died and that this stuff happens everyday.
