It's a bit high for me, I love me some lows

Nature of youtube. The compression KILLS the bass, and makes the higher Hz all compressy and suckish.

Female voices will bring up the overall "higher" sound, I like the contrast.

Hop on grooveshark and give it a shot. If you like lower but in the same vein check out Demons by Delta Heavy. It is a molar rattler.

I will say the youtube is great for posting here, but even with my funky set up the audio from something like grooveshark is a billion times better if you can live with out the "video" aka still picture.

What?

You tube destroys audo. You can tell by listening to a song on vevo, and then youtube. Youtube is just better for repoasting all up in the forumz.

Grooveshark is an awesome music player that you can listen to any song, any time. And it will have as good of quality as whomever uploaded it. It is a horrible video player though.

Sean posted some remix

correct. The version you posted is much more pleasant to my ears actually. I didn't notice at first. I just skipped to the spots he mentioned. Good catch and shame on me for not noticing.

Definitely more bass with the cans, might melt my sound card though...

I gave up on my PC running mine. Set up an optical cable to that Integra I have had for a long time, and just use that now. Let me canibalise my roomates old PC speakers and set up my HT sub for when the wife isn't home.

Drives the AKG's ok too.

What cans you has?

Have some old ass AKG's. Would have shopped differently now. K270's. Bought them for when I was running a sound board.

It is also much much much more enjoyable when you have a really powerfull sub.

My little HT Velodyne fucker is actually set on it's most subdued profile(jazz)and not turned up too high. I can only imagine in a car setting with a really sharp bass set up or in the HT when I am done with my pair of 18"ers and paired with a couple mid heavy towers it will sound much better.

All of this is mainly dance music and is made to sound best when in an amphitheater type setting.

Best dance setting ever is on my boat after dark with the LED's in the middle of the lake with no one else around. Makes me want to be without kids....bad
Yeah. I bet. I can't imagine it being too much better.

Your set up on the boat with it's PA like sound reinforcement on the sound bar and the really great sub would be pretty close to idea. The close proximity to the sub helps a lot. Is it pretty easy to feel it in the water too?

Sounds good in the lake swimming.

I know it's the nature of wub wub, but it's still quite high at 55Hz.

Tho I mind it only in the car, cause she peak at 35 so nicely.

I have he 702's Quincy Jones edition.

If you beleive the head-fi graph, they have a smidge more bass. I knew I liked the 702's even though they are not so great for the techno jams per sey. But they are really detailed and awesome. I got the QJ version because I had a gift card, purchased a damaged box pair and only paid 170 out of pocket when BB was shutting down it's pro audio area.

Tonka is funny that way. I ALWAYS catch fish right after a boat comes by. There is so much traffic that the fish aren't scared of traffic. I think a still boat is worse probably.

I only listen to music on youtube, if I am hearing the song for the first time. If I like it I then proceed to download it in either .flac(if available) or 320 mp3 and call it a day.

It is somewhat popular among youngsters these days to listen to off youtube via personalized playlists.

Man, try grooveshark. It will change your damn life. The sound quality is leaps above. Some songs I would have passed over had I only heard the shitty youtube version.

My room mate likes to make youtube playlists. He thinks he is young.

:D

I'm only sitting still and not playing a game because I am so amped to have a chair, and enjoying SSA company and shopping for dream engines.

I'm starting to think I need either a forged block with GT headers 4 turbo's or to scrap it all and get a modified deisel. 2k ft/lbs sounds reasonable right?

If the video is 720 1080p I see no problem with the audio. I couldn't care less if I hear some leaf falls in the background or the singer lets out a fart. It's the feeling that the song caries with it.

Speaking of darker lower jams Teo, please tell me you have some Underworld in your rotation.

Yeah... want to keep the body/frame mods to a minimum.

The audio is compressed. More than an average bit rate MP3 actually. It also chops off some of the highs and the lows, and you can definately tell that it smoshes something in the bass and trebble. It's a HUGE cut off and shit storm.

Sean knows the real words for what I am saying. Fucks up the wave form of the audio or something like that. It SERIOUSLY degrades not just the fidelity of hearing fine details but you literally loose entire frequency and what isn't set up for laptop speakers is then muffled. I think they even adjust the audio with some generic filter/mixer.

Trance[]Control

This, I like

One of their jams is just a constant build up and then huge bass drop, and then that again with more intensity. It was a classis to us nerds who cruised the wareZ and some other not so legit places in the armpit of the internet.

I was in thick with some not so cool peoples way back in the day.
