Anyway the perfectionist in me is not entirely satisfied with how the heads are cast (ie long side radius on one head is deeper than on the other) simply because I hope the port walls are not too thin to begin with. What I removed was just surface stuff so little to no effect on the thickness.

Only one way to find out if they hold: finish cleaning them up, install and run the piss out of them. Heads studs are the next purchase. Then it's time for a big snail.
